Nerd Alert!

Hello, I'm Andrea!

For some reason, I have a small obsession for real estate. Specifically, Toronto real estate. I just love seeing how all the old houses in Toronto have been restored, renovated, gutted and landscaped! I love home innovation and the creative ways to make a space functional for the modern urban dweller, in a not-so-modern home.

My husband and I purchased a 90-year-old semi-detached home in the city, pretty much directly following our wedding and honeymoon! We didn't waste any time on that front. I'm really excited and passionate to see the changes we make to turn this house into a home.

I work in the broadcast advertising industry and really love it. I'm a lover of music, art and home design. I love our Lhasa-poo Ruby, tea, and the city I live in. I will never pass up the opportunity to go dancing. I have roots in print journalism, and hope this blog can spark a creative outlet in writing. I love spending time with my fantastic and supportive friends, my sweet and fiercly hilarious husband, and when we can, I love spending time with our fun and crazy (the good crazy!!) families.
